Thanks to Daily Art Muse yet again. This time we’re being introduced to Leslie B. Grigsby and her seed bead sculptures. These things are gorgeous!! Leslie is Winterthur’s Curator of Ceramics and Glass as well as the creator of these fab pieces. Look at those fish! Am I gushing enough? Occasionally I tinker with seed beads, not often though since they’re so small and well…so small. I know a bunch of very talented people that work with those tiny little beads and I’m sure if they saw these pieces they’d bow to Leslie. Go look…and check out her web site too.

How to make a delicate wire and sequin crown
This has to be about the most delicate crown I have ever seen. I like the use of the variety of glitter that is literally sprinkled about the wire. I’m not sure I would make it the way the tutorial shows it made but it sure is easy! Pop on over to the blog A Subtle Revelry for the tutorial on how to make a wire and sequin crown.
