I’ve been exploring a more painterly technique in glass and look up to the artists in the next show at Bullseye Gallery in Portland. I’ve even written about a couple of them including Kari Minnick and Michael Janis. Also included in this show is Martha Pfanschmidt, Ted Sawyer, and Abi Spring. The work of these artists is so inspiring. I’ve really embraced working with powders and frits and plan to further my education very soon, more about that in another post. If you can get over to the gallery check it out but if you can’t, do explore their work on the web site and on each of their web sites.

Decorate the inside of Easter Eggs for a change
We all think about decorating the outside of Easter eggs but eggs make great containers for little dioramas. To accent the cute little dioramas the edges of the eggs can be wrapped with one of my favorite things- pompom trim! Hop on over to The Crafty Swedes blog to see more adorable pictures of Easter egg dioramas.
