A founding father of Australia’s glass movement, as well as a pioneer in kiln forming, Klaus Moje has passed away. He was almost 80 years old. German born, he transferred to Australia where he set up the glass program at ANU’s Canberra School of Art. He also helped found Canberra Glass works in 2007. Klaus has worked with Bullseye Glass for decades and has been instrumental in the growth of kiln forming as an art form. Locally, you can see Klaus’ work at the Palm Springs Art Museum as part of their glass collection.
