My good friend Leigh Adams, one of the infamous “Mosaic Mafia” pointed out this story today so I thought I’d share it with all of you. It’s for the mosaic folk and fine art lovers out there. The National Gallery of Art will be installing the Chagall Mosaic Mural that was donated by Evelyn Nef upon her passing. Marc Chagall worked in many mediums and created the mosaic for his good friends John and Evelyn Nef for their garden at their home in Georgetown. The work is 10′ x 17′ and is just gorgeous!
