Erwin Timmers’ Recycled Glass

Two days in a row Daily Art Muse has profiled glass artists so I’m sharing this one with you too. His name is Edwin Timmers and he’s one of the founders of Washington Glass Studio in DC. He creates art by casting recycled glass. This amuses me completely since I’m going to be embarking on a journey of glass casting with recycled glass…but more about me and that project in tomorrow’s post. He also runs the studio…a busy man.     Thanks for sharing this post. Hands-on 3rd in Los Angeles, California is also doing recycled glass art and they’ve got some very nice pieces too. Just recently they held an event with GreenopolisTV. Check out this video, it’s related to your post. http://youtu.be/MfTfuCV93lw
