Kimberly Affleck makes the coolest beads with sea horses on them. And she’s been in Southern California teaching this weekend over at The Mandrel in Redondo Beach. I thought it might be cool to share a tutorial for the bead that she shared with The Flow magazine. There’s a lot going on in the creation of this particular bead. And the end result is worth the work. I have some friends taking her class this weekend and I’ve only heard fantastic things about Kimberly. So if you get a chance give one of her classes a try or try her tutorial…

Decorate the inside of Easter Eggs for a change
We all think about decorating the outside of Easter eggs but eggs make great containers for little dioramas. To accent the cute little dioramas the edges of the eggs can be wrapped with one of my favorite things- pompom trim! Hop on over to The Crafty Swedes blog to see more adorable pictures of Easter egg dioramas.
