Thousands of optical glass fibers form a matrix and run parallel to each other between the two main surfaces of every block,” That’s what happens when you combine glass and concrete. I super strong material is created that transmits light. How cool is that? I love the Glass Quarterly blog for bringing this to our attention. This material was created by Hungarian architect Aron Losonczi and he calls it Litracon, Light Transmitting Concrete. Read more about it. It’s amazing!
