The Amazing Glass Work of Janis Miltenberger

I saw an amazing glass sculpture this morning that was posted on Facebook. It was by glass artist Janis Miltenberger. As soon as I saw it and then her web site, I had to share her with my readers. She works in borosilicate glass and creates these fabulous cage-like sculptures that are beautiful and delicate looking. On her web site she shows a bit of the process she goes through for a goblet. Check it out. And be sure to look at all of her various sculptures. There are wall hangings and cages and houses and goblets…the piece pictured here measures over 5′ tall. Amazing!!
