We have a thing for vintage magazines here at home. I was flipping through an issue of Popular Science dated, October 1941…here was an article on a glass sculptor. Herman Mueller is his name and he created over 1000 scientifically accurate reproductions of infinitesimal living organisms. He created these pieces for the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Have you heard of him? He’s like the Blaschka’s, documenting creatures that aren’t available for most people to come across. Pretty interesting stuff…I tried searching for him to get more information. I found some on the site for the American Museum of Natural History.
