Here’s a place I’d like to visit. Just kind of hang out. Absorb the atmosphere. Take a few classes. It’s Vitrum Studios in Maryland. They are a very well rounded glass studio offering many levels and types of glass and jewelry making classes. Stuff I love…they’re specialty is kiln forming but they’re not afraid to throw in some metal working and bead making. And they can supply you with everything you need to do your glass work since they’re a Bullseye Glass Resource Center.
Founded in 2001 by Judith Conway and Kevin O’Toole, this studio is run by artists that know what they’re doing and are willing to share that knowledge with you. How cool is that? Check them out when you’re on the east coast. I sure want to stop by.
