I know I just recently wrote about Bullseye and their amazing goodies but as I was wandering through Facebook I came across pictures of the factory. Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal, you know, them making glass and all, but they’re in the middle of a heatwave of grand proportions. Hotter than any of them are used to. Like Africa hot. Almost Phoenix hot…OK maybe not that hot but really hot. In the 90’s. So check out the picture of the thermometer in the hottest end of the hot shop.
Yikes! All in the name of amazing glass. And check out the guy making glass sheet. Yikes again!!
So the next time you’re buying fresh Bullseye sheet glass try to find out if it was made during the heatwave of the Summer of 2009. Sizzlin’!!

I hate to say this, but “cool!”
it was hotter than the 90s! i live in kirkland, a suburb of seattle and it reached 110 on Wednesday. i’m quite happy to see it cool down. i can’t imagine working in a glass blowing factory!
